COTW: Tennessee Peach Tea
Friday the 13th. It is supposed to be a frightful day full of black cats, broken mirrors, and over all bad luck. For me, any 13th that fell on a Friday always brought about good luck. Today especially since it is my birthday! Yup, that means the hubby and I are going out to paint the town black! Going to the city tonight to go dancing then heading to the casino to finish off the night.
Since we're going dancing I feel a little pre-gaming is in order to loosen me up a bit while I'm getting ready. See, my dancing would be described as "Frankenstein's Monster Wearing Concrete Shoes." I just can't do it! I always feel like all eyes are on me and, yeah, no just can't do it until I have a liquid left foot. So tonight I'm pregaming with this...
Tennesse Peach Tea
1.5 oz Jack Daniels (black or green label)
.5 oz Peach Schnapps
3 oz Iced Tea
Lemon Slice
Fill a rocks glass half way with ice. Pour in first three ingredients (in order) into glass. Push lemon wedge into the glass to the very bottom to give it a slight mix. Cheers!
If you would prefer your drink to be a bit sweeter, use 1 oz of Jack Daniels and 1 oz of Schnapps. If you would prefer it a little milder then use 1 oz Jack Daniels and 3.5 oz of Iced Tea.
